I’m on the east coast so clearly the logical & efficient thing to do is send my package westward.

That’s nothing. I had a package go from a suburb of Nashville, to Nashville, to Hagerstown, Maryland, to another suburb of Nashville, before going to West Virginia to make it to Virginia.

Yeah, I’ve had those before too, but it’s all about their hubs and all that. At least it’s not fedex dumb post... they can shove that piece of crap service.

maybe there are no direct flights from Reno. maybe they had few more packages to pick up. Maybe they forgot which way they need to go

the magic of hub-and-spoke logistics.

I shipped a pair of shoes to Belgium from northern VA, paid $70+ so I could track them and provide the buyer with tracking. 3-5 day delivery supposedly. It’s been “in transit to destination” for 4 days now, and PayPal won’t release the $1200 until it’s delivered lol.

Maybe it’s being shipped via Panama?

That’s not too bad - once I sold some car parts to a buyer in VA. I’m in NC, so a pretty easy/fast shipment you’d think, right? Nope. USPS sends them all the way out to Nevada, then back to Virginia. Clearly something got fubar’d. Fortunately the seller was a pretty cool guy who didn’t mind the delay.

Was just going to say, “Behold the hub-and-spoke.”

They always do that. I live in Atlanta, and ordered something that shipped from FL. It went to Maryland and before coming to Atlanta. A part that should of taken 2 days to get, took 6 days.

That’s because Oakland is their major hub.

It’ll probably go to Memphis next.

Maybe Oakland is where it is loaded onto the train. Keep updating your tracking and report back.....

It’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I sincerely hope it’s not going by train.

I’ve always said, you can’t see all of Nashville in one trip.
